Providing support to our Accounting Clerk to through a variety of tasks including invoicing, Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable. Responsible for confidential and time sensitive material. Familiar with general bookkeeping practices and procedures and full-cycle accounting. Ability to effectively communicate to ensure that all Accounting Support duties are completed accurately and delivered with high quality in a timely manner. Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

Must be able to type minimum of 50 words per minute, be proficient with computers, (specifically MS Word & MS Excel), and be able to analyze information and problem solve.

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Full-cycle accounting using Sage Cloud
- Preparing journal entries, update general ledgers, etc.
- Accounts Receivable, invoice generation, posting payment receipts, communicate with clients, create, and update clients’ files
- Accounts Payable, supplier invoice tracking, payments, create, & update suppliers’ files
- Bank and credit card reconciliations.
- Set up & maintain employees’ file and process payroll by check & EFT
- Prepare for Government & Union remittance
- Ongoing, regular preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Month end & year end preparation
- Accounting filing & packing Maintain distribution or contact lists for each project

**Responsibilities May Include**:

- Maintain personnel records
- Maintain and order office supplies
- Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner
- Produce and distribute correspondence memos, letters, and forms
- Carry out administrative duties such as filing, typing, copying, binding, scanning etc.
- Maintain computer and manual filing systems

**Job Types**: Permanent, Full-time

- Secondary School (required)
