**Job Overview**

**Duties**
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to increase bakery revenue and market share.
- Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth.
- Plan and execute promotional activities, events, and marketing campaigns to attract customers.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop materials that showcase bakery products.
- Track and analyze sales performance metrics, preparing regular reports to assess progress against sales goals.
- Identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for action.
- Work closely with bakers and kitchen staff to communicate sales trends and adjust product offerings accordingly.
- Collaborate with other departments (e.g., finance, marketing) to support overall business objectives.
- Gather and analyze customer feedback to improve products and services.
- Implement changes based on customer insights and preferences.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and new product introductions.

**Qualifications**

Sales Experience:

- Previous experience in sales, preferably in retail or food service, is essential. Hands-on experience in a bakery setting can be particularly advantageous.

Management Experience:

- Experience in a supervisory or managerial role, especially within the bakery or food service industry, can enhance competitiveness for the role.

**Skills**:Customer Service Skills:

- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills are necessary for interacting with customers, resolving complaints, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.

Communication Skills:

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for training teams, reporting to upper management, and interacting with customers and suppliers.

Sales Skills:

- Proven ability to drive sales and meet sales targets; knowledge of sales techniques and strategies.

Leadership Abilities:

- Strong leadership skills for managing a team, motivating staff, and fostering a positive work environment.

Organizational Skills:

- Strong planning and organizational capabilities to manage inventory, schedule staff, and handle multiple tasks effectively.

Problem-Solving Skills:

- Ability to address and resolve customer complaints and operational challenges effectively.

Food Handling Certification:

- Familiarity with food safety regulations and practices; food handling certifications may be required or preferred.

Flexibility:

- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by bakery operations.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.85-$34.44 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 40 per week
