**Job Summary**
The Billing and AR Specialist is responsible for invoicing customers, managing accounts receivable, and ensuring timely and accurate payment for transportation services. This role works closely with operations and customers and requires experience in transportation billing systems—Trinium experience is a strong plus.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate accurate customer invoices using Trinium
- Verify rates and supporting documentation before billing
- Manage accounts receivable and monitor aging reports
- Follow up with customers on outstanding balances and resolve billing discrepancies
- Communicate with internal teams dispatch regarding billing issues
- Maintain organized billing and AR records
- Assist with month-end close and reporting as needed
- Ensure compliance with company policies and customer requirements
**Qualifications**
- 2+ years of billing and/or accounts receivable experience (transportation or logistics preferred)
- Experience with Trinium strongly preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an ability to convey information clearly and effectively.
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and basic accounting principles
- Able to excel in a fast-paced, team-focused workplace
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $58,000.00-$72,000.00 per year
