**Summary of Duties**:
Reporting to the Manager, Employment Programs Operations, the Quality Assurance and Program Support Coordinator works as part of a team to deliver and implement employment initiatives in the geographical area of London, Middlesex, St. Thomas, Elgin, and Oxford, with a particular focus on financial approvals associated with the delivery of Integrated Employment Services within these communities. Working within established standards and protocols, the Quality Assurance and Program Support Coordinator is the primary point of contact for all requests for funding approval from service providers.
**Work Performed**:
- Determines eligibility of financial support requests relating to the delivery of employment service and approves financial support requests based on predetermined criteria, ensuring adherence to Municipal and Provincial guidelines
- Liaises with Employment Program Coordinators and Service Providers to verify information and provide instructions on funding submissions to London Regional Employment Services (LRES).
- Liaises with LRES management and Provincial representatives to confirm eligibility criteria and clarify processes and expectations.
- Reviews and recommends for approval service provider invoices and funding advance requests, monitor financial incentives and issuance of financial supports.
- Provides clarification and recommendations to LRES staff and Service Providers with regard to funding eligibility decisions.
- Collaborates with Finance Supports and provincial representatives to align financial processes and ensure adherence to funding requirements.
- Networks, consults and proactively develops/maintains working relationships with representatives from all three levels of government and related employment community partners/interest-holders related to compliance audits and funding submissions.
- Facilitates and conducts consultation sessions with staff and related employment partners.
- Participates in the comprehensive review of financial submissions for the purpose of ensuring fiscal responsibility across financial employment supports and Performance Based Funding.
- Reviews funding and service delivery trends and collaborates with Employment Program
- Coordinators, service providers, and other interest-holders to enhance internal processes and service effectiveness.
- Participates in helping to prepare agreements/contracts, reviews and processes claims, reports, briefing notes, background materials, speaking and presentation material and council reports.
- Performs reviews to ensure the Corporation is in compliance with Provincial funding requirements, as well as local policies and procedures.
- Manages user access and permissions for various employment service-related systems, ensuring compliance with security and data-sharing protocols.
- Acts as a liaison for audits, providing required documentation and explanations for financial reconciliations.
- Assists with the design and implementation of initiatives to support Integrated Employment Services-related programs.
- Works collaboratively with team members across the program area to provide information and report on service provider’s funding performance indicators, budget, and financial reports.

**Qualifications**:
Completion of a two-year Community College Business Diploma or equivalent.
