King Tours is the #1 Niagara Falls Tour operator in Toronto. We are looking for an **energetic individual with an extraordinary personality**to join our step-on Tour Guide Team on various days of the week.

Do you enjoy talking to new people and going out of your way to make their day? Are you a warm, friendly, thoughtful, and outgoing team player who would fit in with our team?

We require an independent self-starter who is available to work Saturdays and Sundays or on weekdays as **a step on guide** for our Niagara Falls Tour. Our Tour departs Toronto at 8:30 am and returns back to Toronto at approximately 6:00 pm. Stops include Niagara on the Lake, a Maple Syrup experience, and Niagara Falls.

**REQUIREMENTS**
- A Leader. Able to take charge of a group of 20-55 passengers.
- Must be passionate, confident, have integrity, be adaptable, bring some originality and be a team player
- Be warm, friendly and welcoming to all guests, Drivers, and staff.
- Efficiently handle guest queries and concerns
- Accurately collect tour fares (occasionally) and complete paperwork
- Efficiently keep to a scheduled itinerary
- Maintain a clean and aesthetically pleasing appearance
- Professional Appearance and Attitude at all times
- Social Media savvy

**DUTIES**
- Responsible for conducting a safe, orderly and fun sightseeing tour from Toronto to Niagara Falls
- Maintaining dialogue with passengers during the tour
- Explaining the history of points of interest between in Toronto and Niagara Falls.
- Demonstrate thorough knowledge of Niagara Falls through insightful commentary
- Encourage photographs and social media posting
- Willingness to provide additional assistance for travelers (ie. restaurant reservations, assisting in booking airport transfers, etc.) outside the Tour Guide job description.
- Take credit card payment for passengers who have not prepaid prior to the tour
- Assist Bus Driver in collecting passengers from the hotel lobby.

**KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES**
- A secondary school diploma is required
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work well both independently with minimum direction, and as part of a team
- Flexible to a changing schedule (traffic on the return trip)

**TOUR ITINERARY**
- Morning pick-up from a handful of Hotels in Downtown Toronto
- Depart Toronto to Niagara Falls
- Arrive in Niagara Falls and assist passengers board Hornblower, Journey Behind the Falls, and assist passengers with activities.
- Depart Niagara Falls in early Afternoon
- Brief stops at points of interest
- Visit Maple Syrup Tasting
- Visit Niagara-on-the-Lake
- Assist driver in planning passenger drop-off, and arranging Uber and King Shuttle for others that are off route.

**PAYMENT, SELECTION, and TRAINING**

The pay range is $200 per day, plus tips. Tips are to be split with the bus driver.
