Job Title: Accounting Clerk

Location: Abbotsford, BC, Canada

Tiger Tool International Inc., a leading manufacturer of specialized tools for heavy-duty vehicles, is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team. As a member of the accounting team, the Accounting Clerk is responsible for the accurate entry of all invoices, ensuring accounts payable are correctly received and record keeping is accurate. The Accounting Clerk contributes to an accurate month end, reconciling bank statements, and assisting in other duties at the discretion of the CFO.

**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for receiving, processing, and verifying invoices related to accounts payable
- Review Accounts Receivable and follow up with outstanding accounts
- Complete several monthly bank reconciliations
- Perform adjusting journal entries as directed
- Assist with the capital asset schedule and post amortization entries
- Assist in the completion of monthly financial reporting
- Ensure proper record keeping is maintained
- General bookkeeping for a group of related companies
- Tracking various KPI for the department
- Assist with government filings (GST, PST, WCB returns)
- Assist with various financial analysis projects as they arise
- Actively contribute to a clean, organized working environment
- Maintain a positive attitude and work ethic, supporting other members of the accounting team
- Other duties as needed

**Requirements**:

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with Sage 50 Canadian Edition and Global Shop is an asset

**Salary**: $23.00-$26.00 per hour
