**SUMMARY OF DUTIES**:
**Family Court Support: Responsibilities include the provision of individual and group case management and counselling. Working from a Trauma informed, strengths-based, feminist and empowerment perspective, the Family Court Support Worker conducts assessments, provides support navigating the Family Court System, develops safety plans, and provides a range of clinical interventions. The Family Court Support Worker makes referrals to community agencies/resources as required and provides outreach services as needed.**
**Intake: Performs as first point of contact for clients, assessing needs and making referrals or appointments for appropriate staff or community services. The incumbent provides intake counselling services under the direct supervision of the Director of Clinical Programming. The Intake Worker provides administrative support to the clinical staff and assists other program support staff as required. The intake worker would work primarily with our EAP program.**

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
*Post-Secondary diploma/degree in the field of social work or social services or related discipline.
*Bilingual (French-English) is preferred.
*Successful Vulnerable Sector Police Reference Check is required.

Experience

*One to three years of clinical experience would be an asset.
*Familiarity with the field of Domestic Violence and Violence against Women (VAW)

Job Requirements:
*Knowledge of and experience with community stakeholders in the Kingston and surrounding area involved working with domestic violence.
*Familiarity with the Child and Family Services Act.
*Must be able to provide contact over the phone or in person when necessary
*Experience in Crisis Intervention and Safety Planning would be an asset
