Assistant Production Coordinator

Bolton, Canada Roma Fence LTD Full time

The Assistant Production Coordinator will work alongside the Production Manager and will be responsible for assisting with planning, implementing and overseeing production in the welding department.

**Major Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Organize Roma warehouse
- Oversee and monitor inventory controls and communicate shortages to Manager
- Assist Roma management with day-to-day operations of warehouse and specifically welding department
- Identify and move the welding materials to the production/assembly area
- Help welding staff as required
- Provide direct daily supervision of warehouse associates
- Work with installation and shipping departments to effectively control inventory
- Maintain receiving, warehousing and distribution operations by working with installation department
- Work together with Human Resources to ensure plant safety
- Maintain a high level of communication with all internal and external channels
- Other duties as assigned

**Required Qualifications**:

- CET an asset
- Ability to read plans and drawings
- 1-3 years of experience in similar role considered an asset
- Proficient in Word, Excel & Outlook
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities at the same time while meeting deadlines
- Leadership skills, such as the ability to motivate a team and provide feedback
- Critical thinker and problem-solving skills.
