**Job Summary**

Administrative Support, coordinate linehaul traffic and data entry for Overland West Freight Lines Linehaul Division

**Work Schedule**:
Monday-Friday 23:00- 07:00

**Essential Functions**:

- As part of the linehaul team, establish, modify and execute nightly dispatch plan
- Update trip sheets and records in the dispatch system, ensuring the accuracy of miles paid and log hours
- Day to Day communication, via phone and ELD, with drivers to ensure proper load instructions are passed along and carried out
- Communicate with cartage to ensure they meet inbound cut times
- Manage breakdown situations and follow up with maintenance to ensure that freight is moved through to destination as quickly as possible
- Monitor all outbound cut-off times to protect service
- Monitor linehaul driver performance
- Enlist and coordinate third party carriers to move overflow loads in a cost-efficient manner
- Track linehaul driver vacation schedules and keep information current
- Minimum of **3** years linehaul dispatch experience in the logistic and transportation industry
- Familiar with operations related to Long Combination Vehicles **(LCV)**:

- Strong organizational skills, planning skills, and multitasking ability
- A customer service mindset and excellent communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite is required (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- AS400 experience an asset
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment

**Compensation & Benefits**
