Team Lead, Welfare

We are seeking a Team Lead, Welfare to join our BPA team in Mississauga.
The team lead supervises and assists in the processing of employer benefit contributions and related member data while adhering to collective bargaining agreements and BPA Delinquency Guide. The Team Lead ensures that both the Employer and Member service teams are supported during their day to day activities.
**The Team Lead, Welfare will**:
- Co-ordinate the work flow of staff within the unit in terms of employer contributions and member record upkeeping.
- Ensure delinquency control procedures are followed and monthly reports prepared for Account Management as required.
- Leading a team of skilled staff responsible for processing employee and employer benefit contributions, support and train existing and new staff in an effort to develop higher level in process and customer service area.
- Prioritize and organize workloads to determine items that are critical to the business operations, identify potential problems and shifting priorities in order to adjust schedules, and convey to team on a day-to-day basis all necessary information that pertains to their jobs;
- Identify, examine and correct employer contribution and member record errors.
- Examine and evaluate processes in order to develop new, or improve on existing, procedures
- Maintain the security and confidentiality of records Team Lead
- Assisting with development and maintenance of training documentation and resource material for job functions performed by team members;
- Responsible for taking a lead role in maintaining and monitoring an adequate system of internal controls related to Employer Services as setout by the BPA Corporate Governance Program and BPA Delinquency Guide;
- Collaborate with internal and external contacts to support overall Unit goals and objectives;
- Contribute to business growth as a member of the company’s leadership team.
- Provides Customer Service to plan members and the Client directly
- Maintain system information such Premium rates and Collective Agreement rate
**To be successful as a Team Lead, Welfare **with BPA, you will need**:
- Good analytical and problem solving skills Team Lead
- Ability to work well under pressure with required level of keyboarding skills to accurately process a high volume of work in a timely manner
- Good knowledge of general office procedures
- Ability to work and contribute in a team atmosphere
- Leadership, coaching and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Good mathematical ability and basic knowledge of accounting procedures
- PC proficient with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office: Excel, Word & Outlook
- Excellent time management skills in order to ensure work assigned to team can be completed by committed deadlines
- Possesses research skills to trouble shoot client problems using available resource
