Responsibilities:

- Answer and direct phone calls in a professional and courteous manner
- Greet and assist visitors, providing them with necessary information
- Schedule appointments and maintain calendars for patients
- Prepare and distribute correspondence, memos, and reports
- Maintain filing systems, both electronic and physical, ensuring accuracy and organization
- Knowledge of program Progident
- Assist with basic bookkeeping tasks, such as invoicing and expense tracking
- Perform general administrative duties, including photocopying, scanning, and faxing

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience as a secretary or administrative assistant preferred
- Proficient in using Progident dental software
- Familiarity with medical terminology and electronic medical records (EMR) system
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Knowledge of phone systems and ability to handle multiple phone lines
- Experience working in a dental office or medical office setting is a plus
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information

Pay: From $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 26 per week
