**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly motivated, organized and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team. As an Accounting Clerk at Devine and Associates, you will play a crucial role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our accounting department. You will assist with financial record-keeping, data entry, invoicing, reconciliations, and reporting, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of all financial transactions. This position requires a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

**Responsibilities**
A/P
- Match invoices to backup documents (e.g., quotes, receipts, etc. and obtain proper approvals for invoices
- Address any invoice discrepancies with the vendors
- Process invoice accurately and efficiently for payment
- Maintain vendor relationships and address any payment inquiries
- Manage credit card reconciliations process with card users
- Process payments and cheque batches for review in a timely manner
- Performs filing, typing, data input and other clerical support to all other departments and personal, as directed.

A/R
- Generate and send out invoices to customers promptly and ensure accuracy
- Follow up on overdue accounts and initiate collections process as needed
- Produce monthly customer statements by reconciling customer’s account.
- Review and process credit reference on new customer
- Manage & update customer info and other responsibilities as required.
- Deposit
- Other duties as assigned

**Experience**
- High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate degree in accounting or related field is a plus.
- Previous experience in an accounting or clerical role is preferred.
- Experience with accounting software - particularly Quickbooks is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
- Basic understanding of accounting principles.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information

Pay: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
