The successful applicant must pass a criminal background check, credit check and be eligible to attain at least "Reliable Clearance" in accordance with Canadian Federal Government standards. Ability to obtain additional security clearance preferred. - Must be adept and proficient at Microsoft Excel and Word and QuickBooks. - An understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) for project based bookkeeping in order to interface with the Accounting and Finance contacts. Ability to reconcile, BOM's, Time Sheets, Invoices and Accounts payable to ensure chargebacks are assigned to the correct project and vendors and customers. **Qualifications** - Working knowledge of QuickBooks - Diploma in Finance or Accounting - Minimum 4 years of bookkeeping experience - Experience with RFP documents and Government Reporting Procedures - Microsoft Outlook, Word & Excel including formulas and other functions - Strong organizational skills with an ability to prioritize tasks - Proficiency in data entry & document management **Salary**: $21.00-$27.00 per hour **Benefits**: - Casual dress - Dental care - Extended health care - Vision care Schedule: - 8 hour shift COVID-19 considerations: All employees must be vaccinated for Covid-19 Ability to commute/relocate: - Vaughan, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) **Experience**: - Bookkeeping: 4 years (required) Work Location: In person
