We offer to all fulltime employees, competitive salaries, employer paid Health & Dental benefits, opportunities for professional development, free parking at all offices, and much more. **RESPONSIBILITIES**: - Process hospital computer billing and register payments promptly and accurately. - Post all insurance cheques to patient accounts and reconcile payments. - Communicate with patients to gather necessary information and provide updates on their insurance status. - Handle claim corrections, resubmissions, and secondary plan submissions as necessary. - Respond to inquiries from insurance companies and investigate "Request for Information" requests and account audits. - Provide updates on legal responsibilities, processes, and rules pertaining to insurance procedures. - Obtain pre-approvals from insurance providers as needed. - Confirm treatment details and address any incorrect submissions to insurance companies. - Communicate insurance updates and changes to all staff members. - Maintain insurance estimates and pre-determinations for patients. - Develop and maintain relationships with officials at various municipalities, provincial, and federal agencies to confirm coverage and payments for patients. - Maintain fee guides for doctors and stay updated on changes in provincial or federal claims processes. This role may be required to perform other duties as required. **EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE** - High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in healthcare administration or related field preferred. - Minimum of 5 years of experience in dental insurance coordination, billing, or related roles. - Strong understanding of insurance protocols, billing procedures, and regulatory requirements. - Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. - Effective communication and interpersonal abilities. - Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams. - Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to established policies and procedures.
