Want a unique experience working as a Heavy Duty Mechanic?
**The Opportunity**
At Leavitt Machinery, you will get the opportunity to repair various types of material handling equipment: Forklifts, telehandlers, aerial lifts. You will also get a chance to work on our scissor lifts, pallet jacks, sweepers & scrubbers. On rare occasions, you may get to work on specialty equipment. To ensure your success, we will provide you with training to be proficient in operating all types of equipment. You will be working in capacity of the general duties below, but not limited to.
- Communicate with supervisor on job expectations and estimated labor times
- Provide customer service through communication and flexibility with repair work
- Ensure all appropriate documents filled and signed
- Collaborate with various departments
- Look for additional repair opportunities on retail jobs

You are someone with experience in Heavy Duty Mechanics with a strong computer and troubleshooting capability. You have great communication for working with customers and different departments. You enjoy a busy day, and when you are not busy, you look at different ways to positively contribute to the team. A certification we require is the
- Red Seal/Journeyperson Heavy-Duty or Automotive Technician
- Experience with Hydraulics, Diesel, and Propane is an asset
