**The Opportunity**

**Leavitt Machinery** is looking for an organized and detail-oriented **Service Dispatcher** to join our team in Edmonton, Alberta. As the Service Dispatcher you will play a critical role in the successful coordination of Service jobs, including scheduling and assigning work to Technicians, and ensuring that the services we provide meet or exceed the needs of our internal and external customers.

**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**

As the Service Dispatcher your key responsibilities will include:

- Scheduling, coordinating, and assigning jobs for Service Technicians according to the provisions of the applicable Collective Agreement
- Managing new and ongoing work orders using an ERP system
- Utilizing the service scheduler to prioritize and schedule appointments
- Communicating with Service and Parts team members to ensure workloads are maximized, and customer needs are managed proactively
- Owning incoming leads using established programs and processes
- Maintaining ongoing and professional customer communication throughout the course of each repair job
- Managing the WIP Report and billing for customers, including reviewing invoice proposals for accuracy
- Ensuring adherence to all safety programs and initiatives, including programs for field workers, and ensuring any necessary incident reports are completed
- Providing information for Technician performance reviews and disciplinary issues to Service Manager

**Required Skills & Qualifications**
- Previous related experience strongly preferred, including scheduling and coordination experience
- Previous experience in the machinery industry would be considered a strong asset
- Post-secondary education in Sales, Business, Management or a related discipline preferred
- Strong proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent organizational skills, planning skills, and multitasking ability
- A customer service mindset and excellent communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to work with internal and external customers at all levels
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment

The base pay range for this role is: $50,000-$60,000 per year, depending on experience.

This is an **onsite** role based in **Edmonton, Alberta**.
