**Position Type**: Part

**Schedule**: 20 hours per week, (may include evenings and weekends)
**Reporting to**: Housing Program Director
**Location**: Edmonton (various locations)

Reporting to the Senior Manager of Property and Projects, the Property Management Coordinator supports property management functions and tenant relations. They are a member of a team providing support services to people, with multiple barriers, in Supportive Housing settings. In collaboration with housing support staff, maintenance workers, and tenants, the Property Management Coordinator is accountable for responding to tenant-related issues and ensuring that they are resolved in a professional and timely manner. The Property Management Coordinator will be required to file, scan, and update physical and electronic files as well as ensure that all documents are filed in an accurate and timely fashion. The position also requires the incumbent to process documentation in the property management system - leases, renewals, inspections, rent ledgers, evictions, etc. and conduct prospective tenant interviews and complete lease agreements.

**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS**
- Experience with property management systems is considered an asset.
- Previous property management work experience and understanding of the RTA considered an asset.
- Ability to work well with people with mental health and addiction barriers.
- Collaborative.
- Organized, self-directed and proactive with an eye for detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work with mínimal direction/supervision.
- Strong customer service and conflict resolution skills are required.
- Strong oral and written communication skills are necessary.
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.
- Must have reliable transportation to travel to various housing locations.
- Must be able to multi-task in a face paced environment.
- Able to work on multiple projects concurrently and juggle multiple priorities.
- Able to deal with difficult and stressful situations in a professional manner.
- Able to exercise confidentiality.

**WORKING CONDITIONS**
- Moderate mental effort is required: periods of high-volume workload; interaction with vulnerable tenants; a high degree of change; providing information; resolving discrepancies and responding to intense situations.
- Moderate physical effort is required: keyboarding, lifting, sitting, standing, walking, climbing stairs, driving are required in this role.
- Housing sites are harm-reduction based.
