- Previous experience in the property/facilities management industry
- Previous experience with land management
- Diploma and/or education in real estate field with Alberta Real Estate License considered an asset
- Exposure to and knowledge of residential, commercial, and agriculture leases
- Basic knowledge of small facilities building systems (electrical, plumbing, sprinkler, life safety, HVAC, landscaping, snow removal, caretaking, etc.)
- Knowledge of small project management processes including developing specs, estimating scheduling, design drawing interpretation, etc.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills to simultaneously handle and prioritize multiple tasks and projects
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel as well as knowledge of computerized accounting systems
- Working knowledge of computer mapping systems (Google Earth, Land Titles, SPIN, legal land surveys, Alberta Township Survey systems (ATS), etc.)
- Ability to understand engineering drawings and other related documents
- Detail oriented with an ability to create and proofread complex documents
- Must have a vehicle, such as a SUV or truck, which can handle rough terrain

**What will you do?**
- Identify deficiencies with land, access points, fences, etc. and plan/execute projects to restore land
- Monitor and direct grounds workers as needed
- Promptly address complaints and issues as they occur
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors, and travel when required
- Assist in preparation of all leasing documentation and correspondence between landlord and tenants, and/or legal representatives (if required)
- Ensure that the landlord’s obligations to the tenants are accurately reflected in the various documents entered into
- Coordinate services to sites via subcontractors and employees
- Ensure that reporting is provided on a timely basis
- Assist with the implementation of Edon’s Preventive Maintenance Plan
- Obtain pricing and monitor expenditures to meet budget expectations
- Create, implement, and monitor the execution of the risk management plan, and perform risk evaluations to identify and document areas of concern and encroachments
- Assist with the development and implementation of new processes and procedures
- Monitor reporting to ensure that Quality Assurance standards (or KPI’s if applicable) are being met
