**Job Summary**:
We are seeking a dynamic Manager of Training to oversee the day-to-day operations of the training department, ensuring efficient scheduling, instructor management, and high-quality program delivery. This role will manage training resources, coordinate with clients, and monitor performance to optimize operational efficiency. The Manager will work closely with the Director to implement customized training programs, including Incident Command System (ICS) training, and support continuous improvement in training processes and team performance.
**What You’ll Do & How You’ll Make an Impact**
- Oversee daily training operations, ensuring the efficient scheduling and assignment of courses, instructors, and resources.
- Manage and support the training team, including trainers, coordinators, and scheduling leads.
- Ensure the quality and consistency of training programs and instructor performance.
- Develop and implement client-specific training programs, including ICS training.
- Work directly with clients to coordinate bookings, address custom training requests, and resolve scheduling conflicts.
- Monitor operational KPIs and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Act as the first point of escalation for operational issues.
- Support the Director in implementing new training initiatives, technologies, and workflow improvements.
- Assist in onboarding, mentoring, and managing the performance of training personnel.
- Oversee training record management, ensuring the accurate documentation of certifications and compliance.
**What We’re Looking For**
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business Administration, Emergency Management, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in training coordination, operations, or management.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills, with experience managing training teams.
- Experience in training scheduling, customer service, and quality assurance.
- Familiarity with LMS platforms and training management systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Hands-on experience with ICS training and emergency management training programs.
