Under the direction of the Principal, the Early Childhood Educator:
partners with the classroom teachers(s) to plan and implement a full day early learning program;
collaborates in the design of high quality and effective play-based programs and environments;
supports enhanced physical, cognitive, emotional and social development within the context of a Catholic learning environment, as part of the Early Learning program team.
**Required Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge and Skills**:
an Early Childhood Education diploma or degree;
registration with the Ontario College of Early Childhood Education;
recent experience with kindergarten age children preferred;
current First Aid and CPR certification.
**In addition, the following will be considered an asset**:
minimum two years experience
bilingualism
experience working in a school setting
**Status**: To be considered you must be available to work based on the start and end date of the term assignment.
**Salary**: Hourly wage between $24.03 to $25.79 plus 4% in lieu of vacation pay
