**Job description**
A TERM kindergarten/school age Educator is required for Crestway Early Learning Centre located in St. Andrew school in Barrhaven. The program is licensed by the Ministry of Education. The program provides preschool, kindergarten and school age care.
Our programs provide relaxed, recreational and educational programs in a child-centred environment, where children can safely learn through play. This philosophy is guided by Conscious Discipline®, an approach which encourages the educators working with the child(ren) to consciously respond to daily conflict, transforming it into an opportunity to teach critical life skills to children. The Conscious Discipline® focus begins with providing safety, both physically and emotionally, for all children; then creates an environment that aids in healthy connections among and with children in order to facilitate meaningful problem-solving.
**Qualifications**
- Early Childhood Education and provide proof of registration with the College of ECEs
- Child and Youth Care Recreation
- Leisure Services
- A member in good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers.
**Requirements**:
- Ability to work between the hours of 7 am - 6 pm
- A police record check for the vulnerable sector dated within six months.
- Standard First Aid & Infant/Child CPR dated within three years
- up-to-date immunization records.
The annual salary for an RECE is $39,051 + RRSP's & Benefits
The annual salary for a Non-ECE is $32,785 + RRSP's & Benefits
