**Position Summary**

Reporting to the Director of Public Works, the Health & Safety Administrative Coordinator assists in developing, implementing, coordinating and evaluating Health & Safety programs that provide assistance for employees. This is a fast-paced position which requires attention to detail while working on multiple tasks at once.

**Key Responsibilities**

- Achieve and maintain COR certification;
- Assist in administering orientation programs to employees;
- Provide and schedule training and testing;
- Develop and update safety procedures and policies;
- Perform workplace inspections and take appropriate action to ensure compliance;
- Investigate safety concerns within the workplace;
- Investigate workplace near misses, accidents and injuries;
- Site Docs Management;
- Tool box talks and sign off;
- PSD Service requests / work orders;
- Fleetmatics (GPS Equipment Tracking), initial fleet set up, employee assignment set up, monitor daily working conditions, correct errors with software tech and install specialists;
- Create, enter and close out work orders;
- Assist Managers with administrative projects and tasks;
**Job Requirements **(minimum standards)
- Grade 12/ GED Equivalent.
- Safety and COR training courses and experience considered an asset.
- Minimum two years experience in administration and safety administration.
- Knowledge of MB Workplace Health & Safety Act and Regulations.
- Strong leadership skills.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $22.00 per hour

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Health & Safety: 1 year (preferred)
- Administrative experience: 2 years (preferred)
