**Marketing Manager - Canada**

**Location**:Oakville, ON**

**Overview**:
Reporting to the and Director of Marketing Communications, the **Marketing Manager - Canada** is responsible for supporting strategy development and for managing the execution of all marketing and lead generation activities across the portfolio of service offerings including:

- Developing and delivering on regional marketing plans to achieve brand awareness and customer acquisition objectives;
- Managing the marketing budget to ensure appropriate return on investment; and
- Coordinating of allocation of work amongst third party service providers and staff.

The Marketing Manager - Canada will work closely with the marketing brand, intelligence, operations, and sales teams to support the needs of the organization in both our mature and growing Canadian market segments, continuing to build Spark's service credibility, and promoting our brand.

**Here's what you will do as the Marketing Manager - Canada**:

- Develop, deliver, and report on an annual marketing plan and budget for Canada including recommending the appropriate mix of solution offerings and outreach tactics by region.
- Manage, execute, report on digital marketing initiatives including SEO, SEM, Google Analytics, display advertising, and Geofencing strategies for Canadian market, to budget.
- Build Spark's brand awareness with end-user customers and channel partners across Canada's mature eastern market and growing western market, working closely with the Manager of Corporate Communications & Brand.
- Plan, execute, and report on the company's lead and demand generation strategies, working closely with marketing intelligence, sales, and operations to grow the company's sales pipeline.
- Manage, execute, and report on conferences, tradeshows, and events for Canada.
- Manage sales and marketing memberships within Canada, working closely with Canadian sales and operational teams to ensure utilization and value.
- Foster relationships with both internal and external stakeholders through meetings, committees, and events.
- Manage third party relationships as they pertain to marketing in Canada.
- Manage all Canadian projects and key objectives; ensuring quality is met within deadlines and on budget.
- Provide Director of Marketing Communications with regular reporting of KPIs and ROIs under management, providing detailed insights and improvement recommendations.

- **Experience -** 5 or more years' experience in a B2B marketing position, with at least 1 year of experience in a leadership position
- **Education -** Degree or Diploma in Marketing, Communications, or Business
- **License - **Valid driver's license is required
- **Travel -** Ability to travel throughout Canada for events and/or marketing engagements
- **Experience **- Experience in strategic development and execution of marketing plans as they relate to digital marketing, content marketing, event planning, communications, and branding
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high quality work
- Ability to self-motivate and take initiative
- Demonstrated critical thinker with proven solutions
- Ability to plan, prioritize, and execute multiple competing department initiatives within timelines and budget
- Proven experience positively leading and mentoring a team of marketing professionals within a dynamic and changing environment
- Proven ability to work in cross-functional teams, including external partners and customers, in a professional and results-oriented way
- Proficiency in full Microsoft Office suite
- Experience in Adobe Creative suite.
- Experience with CMS tools (Wordpress)
- Experience with social media tools (Hootsuite, LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Google etc)
- Experience with Marketing Automation tools (Hubspot)
