As the Bilingual People & Culture Generalist, you will act as a consulting partner to the Airline Division and will be responsible for the effective service delivery and support of company culture initiatives. The position reports to the Senior Manager, People & Culture.

**What You’ll Do**:

- Maintain, update/ respond to internal group inbox inquiries from employees/leaders
- Serves as a consultant on employee issues such as policy interpretations.
- Responsible for full-cycle onboarding of new employees, including welcome orientations, new hire documentation, and HRIS entries.
- Perform exit interviews and administer the exit interview program in line with departmental guidelines.
- Compile data for government required surveys as needed.
- Support P&C Generalist/Business Partners in all administrative functions.
- Supports P&C Generalist/Business Partners in conducting confidential investigations in response to formal complaints.
- Under the direction of the P&C Generalist/Business Partner, prepare employee-required correspondence such as employment letters, offer letters, leave of absence letters, etc.
- Maintain strong company culture and ensure effective employee engagement/communication through the implementation of People & Culture Programs and initiatives.
- Monitor legislative changes and review practices and recommend changes as required.
- Participate in the development and maintenance of P&C policies and procedures; provide interpretation as necessary; make suggestions and recommendations for revisions
- Assist in the implementation of P&C projects
- Provide support for P&C recordkeeping, filing, and tracking
- Support the P&C leadership team in promoting purpose and values
- Foster an open-door policy for employees
- Bilingual translations as required.
- Other duties as requested.

**What You’ll Need**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or post-graduate certificate
- CHRP/CHRL is an asset
- 1 year of prior experience in Human Resources
- Knowledge and ability to interpret applicable legislative standards and compliance
- Strong people skills with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills in both French and English, both verbal and written
- Solid organizational and planning skills
- Detail-oriented and held to the highest confidentiality standard
