Drumheller, Canada Liquid Amber Landscape Management Ltd Full time

The following is a summary of the duties of the position but is not an exhaustive list. Other grounds duties as required will also form responsibilities of the position:

- Summer Maintenance (April to October)_
- Weekly weeding of all shrub beds and tree wells.
- Daily litter pick up of debris from turf areas, parking lots, loading docks, shrub beds, tree wells and other landscaped areas.
- Assist Grounds Crew with spring and fall clean ups.
- Assist Grounds Crew with weekly cut and trim.
- Edging of tree wells and shrub beds.
- Assist Grounds Crew with annual parking lot sweeps.
- Light pruning of trees and shrubs as required.
- Assist in various landscape maintenance / construction projects at various sites.
- Pressure washing of various areas around the museum as required.
- Winter Maintenance (November to March)_
- Responsible for clearing of snow and ice from all pedestrian surfaces at the various sites in Drumheller using a mix of powered equipment and shovels, at a minimum of once per snow event and continuously throughout the day during prolonged snow events.
- Must be available 24 hours a day, seven days a week including most stat holidays throughout the season. No holiday time will be granted during winter months.
- Year Round Duties_
- Daily (Mon-Fri) clean up services to ensure an aesthetically pleasing and desirable site appearances are continually maintained. Sweep, clean, collect and remove all litter, debris, rubbish and pests.
- Empty all trash and recyclables on a daily basis or as often as required based on usage.
- Inspect and notify of any signs of vandalism and damage to property.
- Clean all ash tray receptacles as required.

**Qualifications**:

- Must have a valid Class 5 drivers license with a clean driving abstract.
- Ability to pass a criminal record check.
- Ability to operate a pick up truck and trailer.
- Ability to operate various gas powered lawn and snow equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
- Availability to work overtime hours, especially in winter service months. Must be available 24/7 during winter months including most stat holidays.
- Experience in landscaping and snow removal services.
- Ability to work outside in a variety of weather conditions (sometimes extreme).
- Ability to safely lift 40lbs or more.

**Salary**: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
