**What would my role be?**

Reporting to the Executive Director, Bruyère Health Village, you will be responsible for:

- Coordinating all tenant outings and activities within Bruyère Health Village and preparing monthly activity calendar
- Coordinating major events within the Village which may vary from Health & Wellness events to Craft fairs or in-house educational sessions for the tenants.
- Working with internal and external clients within the community such as senior’s community centers, City of Ottawa and other senior organizations to develop senior-friendly events, in-house exercise programs and other activities and outings beneficial to the tenants.
- Updating all promotional literature and maintaining InfoNet and the Bruyère Health Village website
- Preparing daily communications for the tenants when required.

Evening and weekend work may be required based on operational needs.

**How do I qualify?**

Required:

- Two (2) year Community College Diploma or Undergraduate Degree in Recreation and Leisure studies
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience working in a retirement or seniors home environment
- Experience in dealing with patients and other tenants who have dementia or behavior issues
- Valid Smart Serve certificate and Food Handler's certificate from a recognized institution
- Fluent in French and English
