Bruyère Health Saint-Louis Long-Term Care is a 198 bed Long-Term Care (LTC) home with convalescent care, peritoneal dialysis and respite programs situated in a quiet residential neighborhood on a picturesque setting on the edge of the Ottawa river. **What would my role be?**
Reporting to the Manager, Facilities, you will operate, check and perform regular maintenance on heating systems consisting of boilers and motors, air conditioning, compressors, pumps and any other related equipment. Additionally, you will be on call for emergency calls on a rotating basis.
**How do I qualify?**
Required:
- Completion of high school diploma
- Minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience
- Fluent in French and English
Preferred:
- Certificate in building maintenance preferred or certificate in building related technical field.
**What skills should I possess to succeed in the role?**
- Knowledge of the Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS)
- Technical knowledge of building maintenance
- Good organizational and interpersonal skills
- Good visual acuity
- Good coordination and manual dexterity
- Vigilant in security matters.
- Versatility and autonomy.
- Good physical condition
- Intermediate computer skills.
