The Director of Talent Acquisition is a key leader in shaping the future of Fix Network by guiding a dedicated recruitment team in crafting, implementing, and refining our recruitment strategies. This role involves identifying staffing needs, sourcing strategies, vendor management, skilled labour immigration, assessing recruitment standards and best practices, and projecting annual recruitment budgets.

By developing and executing cutting-edge recruitment strategies, the role involves collaborating with department heads, managing talent pipelines, and creating strategies for retention and development. The Talent Director will also play a significant role in fostering a positive company culture and ensuring that the organization’s talent needs align with its overall business goals.

**Job Duties**
- Develop and implement comprehensive talent acquisition strategies that align with the organization’s goals and growth plans
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align talent acquisition strategies with the company’s long-term goals.
- Analyze market trends, talent availability, and competitor practices to adjust recruitment strategies as needed.
- Prepare and present regular reports on recruitment metrics, hiring trends, and talent acquisition performance to senior leadership.
- Ensure the company’s online presence, including social media and career pages, effectively communicates the company culture and values
- Evaluate recruitment and selection criteria to ensure conformance to professional, statistical, and testing standards, recommending revision as needed.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the talent acquisition team, ensuring they have the tools, resources, and support needed to succeed.
- Set performance goals for the team and monitor progress, providing feedback and coaching as needed.
- Foster a collaborative and results-driven team culture.
- Oversee the entire recruitment lifecycle, from job posting to offer negotiation.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and provide guidance on recruitment best practices.
- Use data and metrics to measure the effectiveness of recruitment efforts and make continuous improvements.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations during the hiring process. Lead the immigration program and relationships with immigration agencies.
- Work closely with immigration authorities, labor departments, and other relevant government bodies to ensure compliance with immigration laws and regulations.
- Develop processes for assessing the qualifications and experience of foreign workers to ensure they meet the required skill levels
- Create programs to help skilled immigrants integrate into the local workforce and community, including language training, cultural orientation, and support services.
- Network through industry contacts, association memberships, trade groups and employees.
- Educate hiring managers on recruiting process and best practices.
- Conduct job interviews for managerial level positions.
- Conduct regular follow-up with managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans and implementation.
- Other duties shall be assigned as required.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 7-10 years of recruitment experience.
- Diploma/Degree in Human Resources or other appropriate field preferred.
- Languages: English is a must, French and Spanish (written and spoken) is considered an asset.
- SHRM/CHRP/CRHA designation preferred.
- Innovative thinker, able to use and develop new sources for recruitment.
- Able to work in a result focused environment.
- Ability to analyze and interpret the needs of clients and offer the appropriate options, solutions, and resolutions required
- Able to respond quickly in a dynamic and changing environment.
- Good training, coaching, and active listening skills are essential
- Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with corporate departments, key business partners, and employees.
- Detail oriented.
- Ability to work under pressure to meet departmental targets.
- Innovative and dynamic thinker with proven leadership skills.
- Self-motivated, strong analytical skills and detail-oriented.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting.

**Work Conditions**

**Education**: Preferred
- Bachelor's or equivalent or better in Human Resource Management

**Licenses & Certifications**: Preferred
