Cabinet Spray Painter

**What are we looking for?**

We are looking for a Cabinet Spray Painter who will work on unique fixtures projects that involves high end custom cabinetry for a long-lasting functional and luxury experience in our clients’ spaces.
- Select appropriate stain or mix stains according to a pre-determined formula
- Clean and prep surfaces using processes such as sanding, scraping, and grinding
- Review and touch up finished materials as needed to produce an equal tone and ensure quality of work
- Report production issues and assist in resolutions as needed
- Clean and maintain painting and coating, ventilation, compressed air and personal protective equipment
- Ability to understand and read and interpret material safety and datasheet. An understanding of drawings, sketches, and/or blueprints is a benefit
- Performing other related tasks as assigned

**Education and/or Experience**:

- High School Diploma or GED
- 5+ years of experience as a finisher with proficient experience with spraying and clear coats (sealer and lacquer)

**Required Skills and Abilities**:

- High quality attention to detail with a critical eye for identifying defects
- Ability to operate required equipment in a safe and responsible manner
- Ability to readily determine the correct tools and equipment needed to do a job
- Ability to work independently and complete daily activities according to work schedule
- Effective verbal and listening communications skills
- Time management skills
- Commitment to quality and safety
- Experience with hand tools such as scrapers, drivers, wrenches, sanders, and measuring tape

**Working Conditions and Physical Abilities**:

- Work environment requires physical movement including walking, standing, and lifting up to 75 lbs
- General Paint Room / Spray Room conditions
- Use of PPE, including safety glasses and safety boots required
- Fast-paced environment
