**Position Overview**:

**Line Cook/ Prep Cook Responsibilities**:

- Prepare, cook, and plate dishes according to the menu and established recipes.
- Ensure that each dish meets quality standards and is served on time.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area throughout service.
- Operate kitchen equipment such as grills, fryers, ovens, and stoves.
- Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure food is prepared in a clean, safe environment.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth service flow.
- Assist with the preparation of ingredients for daily meals, including chopping, dicing, and marinating.
- Follow standardized recipes and portioning guidelines to ensure consistency and quality.
- Ensure all food is properly stored and labeled according to safety guidelines.
- Maintain inventory levels and help track product freshness and stock rotation.
- Assist with the preparation of garnishes, sauces, dressings, and other components for dishes.
- Help maintain the cleanliness of the prep kitchen, including work surfaces, cutting boards, and utensils.

**Required Skills & Qualifications**:

- Prior experience working in a kitchen, preferably in a line cook or prep cook role.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Ability to work in a high-pressure environment and handle multiple tasks at once.
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to follow recipes and plating guidelines.
- Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively with others.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

- Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (preferred)
