Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our team. As a Line Cook/Prep Cook, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and consistency of our food offerings. **Duties**:

- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and guidelines
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients
- Ensure all food is prepared and presented in accordance with food safety standards
- Follow proper food handling procedures to maintain freshness and quality
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations during service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and kitchen area
- Adhere to all safety and sanitation regulations

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience working in a professional kitchen or food service environment
- Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and food preparation methods
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils
- Understanding of food safety practices and procedures
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Marcello’s pizzeria St.Clair (Corso Italia) is looking for mature and dedicated individuals with a positive and friendly attitude to join our team.

Applicants must be punctual and great team players.

Salad / prep station

Monday-Friday

11-9pm

Approx 44hrs per week

Staff meals and drinks are included

**Salary**: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 44 per week

- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

- Food Handler Certification (preferred)
