Our goal each & every time a customer walks into our store is to deliver an experience that they will tell their friends about & that will make them want to visit Momease Baby Boutique again soon **What we're looking for**: - A genuine interest in the products we carry & a passion for parenting & babies. - An outgoing, friendly personality & positive attitude. - Previous sales & customer service experience in a retail setting. - A desire to deliver a strong customer experience that exceeds expectations every time. - An ability to engage customers in meaningful conversations to uncover needs & recommend suitable products. - A high level of motivation & a proactive “get the job done” attitude. - A heightened attention to detail & the ability to work efficiently under pressure. - A willingness to work both autonomously & with a team. - Previous experience working with children or families would be an asset for crossover work in The Meet Up play space/event place on-site. **What the job involves**: As a small team we need someone who can do a little bit of everything. Here are some of the key accountabilities of a full-time Customer Service/Sales Associate at Momease: - Answer customer inquiries & help make product selections. - Accurately scan items for purchase & process payments, as well as refunds or exchanges using a POS system. - Process pre-orders and special orders on an as-needed basis. - Accurately process new inventory & maintain sales floor product levels. - Re-stock & neatly arrange product on the shelves to keep store looking great. - Maintain storefront, The Meet Up & backroom cleanliness at all times. - Create & take advantage of new learning opportunities & product training. - Open & close the store, including cashing out & locking up. - Maintain a safe environment in the store & in The Meet Up play space. - Complete Baby Registry Consultations with customers, and enter their registry list online. - Help with customer warranty claims & follow up regarding replacements. - Assist with booking, set up & clean up for birthday parties or other special events at The Meet Up play & learning space. **What you'll get**: - A fun, fast paced environment. - A competitive wage of $22 per hour (based on experience & skill set), with performance-linked wage increase opportunities. - An employee discount. - Paid vacation time. - Extended Health and Dental Benefits for qualifying employees. - A respectful & inclusive workplace. **Minimum Experience & Education Requirements**: - A minimum of 2 years previous experience in retail sales, with at least 2 years of customer service work. - High School Diploma or equivalent. **Schedule Requirements**: - Ability to work independently in the store, as well as with colleagues. **Physical Requirements**: - Ability to safely lift & carry 50 lbs. - Ability to walk & stand for 8 hours per day. **How you can apply**: Please EMAIL a current RESUME (references are appreciated) & a DETAILED COVER LETTER to ATTN: Lyra.
