**Accountabilities**:
- Payroll processing assistance for high volume multi-provincial centralized payroll function, covering multiple pay cycles
- Review timesheets to ensure complete and accurate
- Review and audit payroll reports for accuracy and identify, resolve, or escalate any discrepancies
- Review and posting of payroll entries
- Assist in processing new hires, employee changes, terminations & ROEs in payroll systems
- System maintenance/administration for associated payroll system (ADP)
- Administration of the group benefit plan (new hires, changes & terminations)
- Ad-hoc reporting as requested
- Assist with year-end reporting & T4 reconciliation
- Coordinate with People & Culture and other departments as required to ensure proper flow and maintenance of employee data
- Maintain accurate employee and payroll records
- Ensure internal clients are provided seamless, timely, and responsive service
**Qualifications**:
- Payroll Compliance Practitioner designation (PCP) or working towards considered an asset
- 1 year of full cycle payroll processing experience
- Comprehensive understanding of employment legislation and CRA rules and regulations pertaining to payroll
- Payroll experience across multiple provinces considered an asset
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong communication and administrative skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Ability to professionally handle confidential matters and show appropriate level of judgement
- Strong sense of ethics and integrity
