**Please Note: This is a term position of 12-18 months with a start date of March 3, 2025**

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Payroll Administration**:

- Process payroll accurately and on schedule, ensuring timely payment of salaries and wages to employees.
- Maintain and update employee records, both electronic and hard copy, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Enter and manage data in payroll systems.
- Prepare and maintain payroll reports and metrics.
- Monitor and verify employee timesheets, including hours worked, overtime, and leave balances.
- Process benefit deductions such as health insurance, retirement contributions, and other employee benefits.
- Process and manage wage garnishments, levies, and other court-ordered deductions.
- Assist with ensuring payroll processing complies with federal, provincial, and local regulations, including tax laws and labor laws.
- Assist with internal and external payroll audits.
- Always ensure the confidentiality and security of employee information and payroll records.

**Required Skills, Experience, and Education**:

- Completed or working towards post-secondary education in business administration or Payroll Compliance Professional (PCP) Designation.
- Minimum 1 year of Payroll experience with a strong knowledge of Payroll systems and practices.
- HR experience or certification (an asset).
- Intermediate understanding of Microsoft Office programs.
- Intermediate understanding of computer fundamentals.
- Strong English communication skills.

**What Do We Have to Offer?**
- Compensation will be based on a combination of experience and education, with a salary range between $42,000.00 /annually - $52,000.00 /annually.
- Schedule: Monday - Friday.
- **Term: 12-18 Months**:
