**Job Summary**
Golden Arrow is seeking an experienced Payroll Administrator to manage and oversee payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance across all related functions. Based out of our Edmonton office, this role is responsible for bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salary employees and requires attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to handle sensitive information securely. The Payroll Administrator will play a key role in maintaining efficient payroll operations.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Complete full-cycle payroll for all 900+ employees
- Maintain accurate employee payroll records, including time cards, and deductions
- Upkeep of payroll information by gathering and entering data
- Calculate termination and severance pay
- Process ROE’s
- Answer questions and requests and provide payroll information
- Help with employee benefits administration
- Union reporting
- Monitor holiday and attendance records for business units
- Collaborate with the HR department and other departments to ensure pay and personnel records are accurate and up to date
- T4 and year end processing
- Other payroll related projects as needed
**Qualifications**:
- PCP certification (required)
- Minimum 2 year’s payroll experience
- Experience with ADP Workforce now (required)
- Strong knowledge of payroll systems and internal controls
- Ability to prepare ad hoc reports using Excel
- Ability to handle confidential information in an ethical and professional manner
- Strong work ethic and collaborative attitude
- Strong customer focus
- Ability to respond appropriately in pressure situations with a calm and steady demeanor
- Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
**Job Type**: Full-time, Permanent
**Schedule**:
- 8-hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Pay: $46,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
