**Job description** **Overview** SRP Companies Canada (SRP) is a leading full-service category manager offering a broad selection of convenience, novelty, and point-of-sale products (e.g. sunglasses, electronics, plush, novelty, apparel) to convenience store and hospitality channels. To support future growth, the company is looking to hire a **Warehouse Supervisor** to lead our Canadian Distribution Centre in the Richmond Hill area. **The Company** SRP Canada is the market leader for general merchandise (e.g. sunglasses, electronics, plush toys, novelty, apparel) in the convenience store segment. With direct-store-delivery across thousands of stores, SRP's reach spans coast to coast. SRP services its network of field service representatives through pick & pack small parcels and LTL operations from various distribution warehouses. The last mile delivery of the product to customers is done by field representatives using the company fleet. **The Position Functional Responsibilities** Distribution Centre Competencies. Adapt, develop, and execute robust warehousing processes in an established facility that integrates reasonable best practices. Processes include but are not limited to scheduling and planning, shipping and receiving, pick and pack, inventory management and control, budgeting, continuous improvement, etc. Human Capital Development. Identify, coach, and develop high-potential team members to empower them to make higher level decisions and improvement suggestions based on big-picture perspectives of the enterprise. Promote a culture of excellence and ensure that cross-functional teams are engaged and driving to a common goal. Be a "Field General", be engaged and accessible to the team members at all levels over various functions. - 3-5 years of Warehouse experience - Experience in supervising up to 5 people - Extensive experience in shipping, warehousing, receiving and inventory management - Experience working with couriers and freight forwarders, picking and packing - Excellent organizational, planning and timing skills - Excellent communication skills - Excellent attention to details - Ability to work in a very fast paced environment **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**: - Supervise up to 5 people - Coordinate and organize all warehouse activities - shipping, receiving, deliveries, etc - Monitor incoming shipments, keep stock of inventory and replenish when necessary - Documentation of shipping and receiving logs - Inventory management including manual cycle counts - Work with couriers to ensure smooth deliveries of products SRP Companies offer a competitive compensation and benefits package.
