**POSITION OVERVIEW**

The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day interface with clients. The role requires coordination with various teams, including sales, warehousing, and transportation. to ensure customer needs are met. Clear communication to ensure efficient and a high-level of accuracy is paramount. The Logistics Coordinator also supports all administrative activities around the billing and invoicing of activities.

This is a full-time customer-facing role that requires a service oriented mindset with a highly professional approach. We are looking for someone who is a keen problem solver while operating in a fast-paced environment, possessing the ability to troubleshoot a variety of issues while searching out ways to be most efficient.
- **Employment**: Full-Time, up to 40 hours per week
- **Hours**: From 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday
- **Location**: 2080 Van Dyke Place, Richmond, BC

**KEY POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Maintain the company's tracking files for container movements and processing
- Communicate with the company's vendors and clients regarding deliveries
- Dispatch carriers and drivers and prepare bills of lading for deliveries
- Track the movement of client orders and plan
- Maintain a high level of quality and professionalism on all phone and digital conversations and be knowledgeable of the company's products and services
- Create detailed project SOPs for the warehouse and transportation teams to execute
- Create and maintain monthly reports as required
- Ensure proper documentation is maintained for all transactions

**IDEAL CANDIDATE**
- Associate degree/college diploma or greater in an applicable field
- A strong understanding of the logistics industry
- Previous experience in a purchasing role, logistics role, and/or experience working at a freight forwarder or freight broker
- Previous experience in account management, project management, or operations
- Computer literacy, including the Microsoft Office suite of products
- Proficiency and/or experience using WMSs
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Relationship-building (External customers and internal colleagues)
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Problem solving and decision making
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Time and self-management skills, including being self-directed, effective realization of current priorities associated with answering customer calls, scheduling call backs while being able to re-prioritize as requested.
