Founded in 2012, _Nucor Environmental Solutions_ aims to be the leader in the abatement and environmental response industry. With a growing work force, we are looking to add to our Surrey team with an **Accounts Receivable/Payable Clerk**.

Adaptability and staying calm under pressure will help with everchanging timelines as you will work side by side with our other Accountants, Project Assistants, Project Managers, staff, clients and vendors. Any applicant must exhibit integrity, strong ethics, professionalism, and a positive attitude. Minimum 1 year experience in an office setting is preferred. **MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Invoicing completed accurately in line with client protocols.
- Assisting with Month End and Year End accounting requirements.
- Performing a variety of administrative functions including invoicing, data entry and filing.
- Developing and monitoring project cost estimates, schedules, reports, and procedures.
- Compiling a successful full cycle of assigned projects; from initiation to completion, including receipt of payment
- Managing outstanding receivables.
- Preparing incoming invoices for payment.
- Reconciling vendor accounts.
- Processing purchase orders.
- Supporting Project Managers, Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Proficient in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel and Word
- Experience in Fieldglass, Ariba, PayShepherd, etcan asset
- Proven organization and time management skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to multitask
- Superior (english) communication skills, both written and oral
- A positive attitude towards a multi-cultural business environment with the ability to overcome communication challenges is greatly appreciated
- Punctual and reliable
- Must be eligible to work in Canada

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $50,000.00 per year
