Accounts Payable Clerk

Surrey, Canada AccessSMT Holdings Ltd. Full time

We are currently seeking an experienced Accounts Payable clerk. This position is located out of our Surrey B.C. Corporate Headquarters and will be hybrid between in office and work from home.

Key Responsibilities include:

- Match invoices with purchase orders and verify receipt of goods/services.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Prepare and process payments.
- Monitor accounts to ensure vendor statements are up to date.
- Assist with month-end closing processes, including accruals and reconciliations.
- Maintain accurate and organized record of all accounts payable transactions.
- Communicate with vendors and internal departments to resolve invoice and payment issues.
- Assist in preparing reports and providing support during audits.
- Performed other related duties as assigned by the manager.

**Best Qualifications include**:

- Minimum 1-3 years’ experience in an Accounts Payable role in construction
- Secondary education related to accounting is an asset
- Ability to work within a team in a positive manner, and independently when required

Pay: $50,000.00 per year
