Sample Maker

We are looking for a sample maker who has excellent skills in constructing and finishing a garment across multiple categories. The individual should be prepared to come in for a trial, to be given a sewing assignment on the spot as a test.

**Skills**:

- Ability to work both as part of a team as well as autonomously when necessary
- Work quickly and efficiently to meet deadlines
- Ability to produce all samples up to standard
- Keep a clean and tidy workspace for the benefit all those who work within the department

**Requirements**:

- Excellent knowledge in the construction of a garment.
- Able to sew any kind of sportswear, dresses and knits.
- Must be able to sew both woven and knits
- 3-5 years minimum experience.
- Knowledge of garment construction in pants, sportswear, jackets, skirts and dresses is a must
- Knowledge of finishing a garment, pressing and completing garment, is a must.
- Knowledge of the “single machine” plus all the other special machines: ie: “over lock, blind stitch, buttonhole, cover stitch, snap machine, marrow edge machine.”
