We are currently seeking a skilled Pattern Maker to join our team, someone who is adept at translating sketches into precise patterns and optimizing garment fit.

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Pattern Development**: Create new patterns in the PAD System based on samples or sketches provided by designers.
- **Pattern Adjustment**: Modify and correct existing patterns in the PAD System to ensure accuracy and fit.
- **Spec Sheet Creation**: Complete a one-page spec sheet for each style to be produced, detailing necessary garment specifications.
- **Fabric Knowledge**: Demonstrate a thorough understanding of various fabrics and their reactions, including differences between knit and woven materials.
- **Pattern Design**: Design patterns that are balanced, proportional to sketches, and practical for production.

**Qualifications**:

- **Experience**: Minimum of 5 years of experience in the ladies' apparel industry.
- **PAD System Expertise**: At least 5 years of experience working with the PAD System.
- **Fabric Knowledge**: Strong understanding of different fabric types and their finishes.
- **Pattern Construction**: Proven knowledge of pattern construction techniques for both knit and woven fabrics.
- **Organizational Skills**: Highly organized with the ability to manage and adhere to timelines effectively.
- **Attention to Detail**: Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in pattern making and fitting.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- **Education**: Relevant degree or certification in pattern making, fashion design, or a related field.
- **Additional Skills**: Familiarity with other pattern making software or tools is a plus.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: From $17.33 per hour
