Title: 3D Fit Technician - Apparel Location: Montreal, Quebec Salary: $60,000 - $65,000 per year Work Model: Hybrid - 1 day/week remote Schedule: Full-time About the Role Our client, a well-established apparel company, is looking for a talented 3D Fit Technician to join their product-creation team. This role is at the heart of transforming creative designs into garments that fit beautifully on real bodies - using innovative 3D sampling technology to reduce development time and improve quality. You'll collaborate with designers, pattern makers, and overseas vendors to ensure each style meets brand standards for fit, comfort, and construction. What You'll Be Doing Conduct virtual fit sessions using 3D apparel software (Clo3D, Browzwear, Optitex, or similar) Analyze garment balance, ease, and proportion on digital avatars Translate design intent into accurate fit comments and corrections Modify digital patterns and test across multiple sizes Validate grading from size to size to ensure consistency Evaluate fabric behavior in 3D (stretch, drape, thickness) Work closely with pattern teams on construction improvements Prepare and update technical packages for factories Support physical fittings when needed (hybrid process) Communicate clearly with suppliers and vendor partners Skills & Qualifications Experience in fit or technical design within apparel Knowledge of garment construction and pattern terminology Hands-on understanding of woven vs knit fabrics Proficiency with 3D fit software - or strong interest to deepen it Ability to read and manage spec charts & measurements Detail oriented with excellent problem-solving skills Comfortable working in Montreal's fast-paced fashion environment Bilingual (English/French) is a strong asset College education in Fashion Design, Pattern Making, or related field
