Accounts Payable Supervisor

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Review invoices for the proper authorization.
- Key in accounts payable invoices each month, matching of all source documents, and ensuring appropriate GL distribution.
- Mid-volume expense reimbursements and credit card statements.
- Manage and maintain existing and new vendor setups.
- Input payment transactions and run cheques.
- Correspondence with branches.
- Communicate with vendors on invoices, receiving and payments of outstanding accounts.
- Overseeing Accounts Payable departmental activities to ensure items are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Hiring, training, motivating Accounts Payable team.
- Support and lead the Accounts Payable team and provide coaching and mentoring.
- Completion of other accounting duties and projects as assigned.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Minimum 3 year of experience in accounts payable or similar role
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Experience in a fast-paced and high-volume collections environment
- Ability to problem solve, multitask, work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
- Proficient with Excel, Word and MS Outlook
- Basic accounting knowledge
- Strong attention to detail, organization and multi-tasking skills
- Ability to effectively work in a team environment
