**What you can expect to do here**:
- Champion the development and execution of document management strategies tailored to project and client needs.
- Lead and mentor a team of document control professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
- Oversee the implementation and refinement of document control procedures, ensuring consistency and compliance across projects.
- Provide strategic guidance and training to team members on systems, tools, and best practices.
- Manage the intake, processing, and distribution of engineering documents and drawings in accordance with established protocols.
- Maintain rigorous version control and audit trails for all technical documentation.
- Conduct quality assurance reviews and ensure timely, accurate submissions.
- Serve as the primary liaison for document control between engineering disciplines, project managers, and external stakeholders.Identify opportunities for process optimization and lead initiatives to enhance efficiency and data integrity.
**What you’ll bring to WSP**:
- 10+ years of progressive experience in document management, ideally within engineering or infrastructure sectors.
- Proven leadership experience, with a track record of mentoring and developing high-performing teams.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft SharePoint, Bluebeam Revu, Bentley ProjectWise, and other document control platforms.
- Strong understanding of ISO standards and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Deep knowledge of project documentation workflows and engineering terminology.
- Post-secondary education is an asset.
