Role Summary

**Responsibilities**:

- Monitor and ensure fleet operations are compliant with regulations and laws.
- Ensure the fleet maintenance team is following the proper safety standards and assume ultimate accountability.
- Manage all servicing and repairs of all light fleet.
- Contribute to the estimate process as it relates to fleet repairs as required.
- Manage the preparation and maintenance of light fleet manpower schedule
- Additional and alternative duties that may be changed from time-to-time by the Employer.
- Oversee general facility needs for all locations
- Manage the execution of all Light Vehicle maintenance (Internal and External)
- Fleet Maintenance Inventory Management (All) including procurement and restocking.
- Develop strategic processes for maintenance tracking and execution.
- Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with external maintenance providers and related suppliers.
- Work with operations groups to prioritize all maintenance activities.
- Direct maintenance trades on daily work tasks and priorities
- Track light vehicle usage and update utilization information in maintenance programs.
- Work with finance for set up and maintenance of supplier accounts

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum of fifteen (15) years of experience in managing fleet and/or equipment, logistics in a commercial/industrial construction organization.
- Post-secondary training/education in Fleet Logistics or related field - an equivalent combination of technical training and/or related experience will be considered. Preference given to those with DOT or mechanical knowledge/experience.
- Experience responding to financial inquiries by gathering, interpreting, and summarizing relevant data sets to provide required resolution(s)
- SCMP, designation is considered an asset.
- Advanced understanding of business processes and objectives related to fleet and equipment from inception to end of life cycles.
- Approaches work in a collaborative manner, taking into account dependencies of components being worked on by other members.
- Advanced technical proficiency in:

- Microsoft Office Suite (including but not limited to Excel, Word, Visio, PowerPoint, as well as Outlook) - SAP

Extensive CMS experience
- Well organized and strong attention to detail
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
