As a **Service Planner**at Prime Boiler Services, your role is crucial in ensuring efficient and streamlined service operations. You will be responsible for meticulous planning, and coordination of service activities, optimizing resource allocation, and meeting customer expectations.

The role involves maintaining a detailed understanding of service requirements, coordinating with field technicians, and leveraging technology for effective scheduling. Additionally, you will play a key role in maintaining clear communication channels, working closely with the Service Team, and continuously improving service processes.

Your focus on precision, proactive planning, and collaborative problem-solving will contribute to the overall success of our service operations and enhance customer satisfaction.

**This role is based out of our Nisku branch and, due to the nature of the role, requires daily in-person attendance.**

**What you will be doing in the role**:
**Work Order Management**:

- Create and prioritize service work orders based on urgency and customer requirements.
- Ensure accurate and detailed information in each work order.

**Resource Coordination**:

- Collaborate with the Service Team to allocate appropriate resources for each job.
- Communicate job details and changes to the Service Team.

**Materials and Inventory Management**:

- Coordinate with procurement and inventory teams to ensure necessary parts/materials availability.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels for service-related items, including warranty claims.

**Customer Communication and Quality Assurance**:

- Maintain regular communication with customers regarding service appointments and updates.
- Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
- Conduct quality checks on completed service work to ensure compliance with standards.

**Reporting, Analysis, and Continuous Improvement**:

- Generate reports on service activities, resource utilization, and job completion.
- Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Work closely with the Service Team to optimize scheduling efficiency.
- Identify process improvements, participate in regular meetings, and contribute to training and development initiatives.
- 1-3 years service coordinator experience required
- Experience with boilers and fired equipment preferred
- Proficient skills in Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
- Trades and or technical post-secondary education preferred
- Excellent customer service, organization and problem-solving skills
- The ability to work well under deadlines and to multitask
- The ability to build relationships with all parties
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
