Business Development Specialist

LabsCubed is looking for a smart, ambitious, and humble individual to join us full-time as a Hybrid Business Development Specialist, eager to make a global impact in lead generation and gain deep exposure to the plastic and rubber manufacturing industries.
At LabsCubed, we're transforming the way quality and R&D labs operate by enabling companies to focus on innovating better materials. Our revolutionary automated lab instruments use automation and AI to raise the bar for accuracy, efficiency, and material performance.
**Responsibilities**
- Conduct sales and marketing research using modern AI tools to identify high-potential customers in the rubber and plastics manufacturing industry
- Build and manage targeted prospect lists using a variety of channels and data sources
- Drive international prospecting efforts across North America, Europe, and other key markets
- Qualify leads and schedule discovery calls using tools such as Google Calendar, Microsoft Teams, and HubSpot
- Understand customer pain points and connect them with LabsCubed’s automated testing solutions
- Contribute to the development and refinement of sales and marketing messaging to boost engagement and conversions
- Maintain accurate records of prospect data and activities in HubSpot CRM, ensuring a smooth transition to the sales team
- Track and report on key performance metrics related to outreach and campaign success
- Represent LabsCubed at industry conferences, expos, and other events across Canada and the USA to support lead generation efforts
**Experience**
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred)
- Excellent listening, writing, speaking, and presentation skills in English; proficiency in French, Spanish, German, or Italian is considered an asset
- Strong project and time management skills, with proven experience in managing calendars and meeting deadlines effectively
- Confident in researching and connecting with prospects across multiple channels
- Willingness and ability to travel internationally to the USA
- Self-motivated, accountable, and goal-oriented, with a passion for making an impact and building a career using AI and automation
- Experience in the manufacturing industry is an asset
**Job Type**: Permanent
Pay: $56,560.08-$79,487.12 per year
