Frontier Supply Chain Solutions Inc. is recognized as a growing provider of US and Canadian Customs Services, Trade Consulting, and Supply Chain Logistics, including parcel and courier delivery in Winnipeg and southern Manitoba.

We are seeking an experienced Dispatch Coordinator who enjoys a fast-paced environment and has a good memory of schedules, processes and people. Your primary responsibility will be dispatching our local drivers and providing exceptional customer services to our clients.

The role is a full-time permanent Monday to Friday, and your shift will vary between 7:00 am to 7:00 pm.

**Responsibilities**:

- Coordinate & assign packages/freight to pre-scheduled and call-in customers to our driver fleet or owner-operators.
- Monitor all our drivers and cargo daily.
- Update information to our dispatch system and notify our drivers as new information is received.
- Respond to all clients and driver phone calls and web requests relating to the setup or status of their freight.
- Identify and resolve issues arising from drivers or company error regarding delivery, pick up, or transfer requests, escalate to management as necessary.
- Provide enhanced client customer service professionally and courteously.

**Qualifications**:

- Must have the ability to prioritize daily tasks, which include routine and non-routine phone calls and web requests.
- Demonstrated patience when dealing with clients, internal departments, and Drivers.
- Strong English communication skills - both written and oral.
- Strong organizational, time management and planning skills.
- Must have a knowledge of the streets of Winnipeg and the distance and time to travel between and within most towns in Southern Manitoba.
- Knowledge of various commercial trucks (cargo vans, 1/3/5 tons, trailers etc.) - dimension, GVW, capacities and capabilities etc. an asset.
- Enjoy working in a high demand customer-focused environment.
- Previous experience with driver payroll and timesheet tracking an asset.
- Previous experience working within the transportation/courier industry an asset.
- Legally authorized to work in Canada.
