Procurement Specialist

**Description** Our Client is seeking a Senior Procurement Specialist to assist with the solicitation process, provide contract drafting and review as well as contract management. Work must be done from within Canada, due to network and data security issues. This is a Hybrid role, and the expectation is for the resource will work from the office at least 2 days per week, and as required to support project needs. Must be Canadian resident to apply. **Skills** - Agile, SCMP, ERP Systems (SAP), FOIPP **Type** - Contract **Experience Required/Mandatory Skills** - Knowledge of trade agreements, Financial Administration Act, Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act, Public Works Act. - Experience supporting and collaborating directly with stakeholders, external (public users) and internal business areas. Ability to co-ordinate and communicate necessary information well to all clients. (5+ years) - Experience with contract negotiations. (5+ years) - Experience providing procurement specialist services including evaluation of responses, and management of RFP and procurement processes within a large and complex environment. (5+ years) **Nice To Have Skills** - Bachelor’s degree in a related field - Completion of SCMP or other equivalent courses and associated certificates. - Strong analytical, decision-making and organizational skills. (5+ years) - Experience with Agile methodology. (2+ years) - Experience with and knowledge of tender systems (APC and E-bidding). - Experience with ERP systems. (SAP) - Experience with financial reporting and modeling. (3+ years) - Experience with network security and issues relating to "Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy" legislation. (2+ years) - Experience in procurement processes including an understanding of trade agreements and competitive bid law. (3+ years) - Experience translating requirements into solicitation documents. (3+ years) - Experience independently performing activities related to developing and releasing Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Negotiated Requests for Proposals (NFRPs), Requests for Quotes (RFQs), Requests for Information (RFIs), negotiations, evaluation, supplier feedback, and contract execution. (5+ years) - Experience in facilitating meetings and communicating with senior management and project stakeholders. **Location** - Edmonton/Hybrid **Work Environment** - 6 months with 1 possible 24-month extension **Hourly Rate** - Negotiable
