**Your Role as an SLP at CFASA**: As an SLP with CFASA, you will provide person
- and family-centered services to children, teens, and their families across home, school, and community settings. Your role includes:

- Building trusting, positive relationships with children and their families to create a foundation for meaningful communication growth.
- Providing neurodiversity-affirming, strengths-based speech-language supports in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
- Using naturalistic, child-led approaches that honor autonomy and self-advocacy while supporting skill development.
- Offering parent coaching and consultation to enhance communication in everyday life.
- Providing direct intervention and guiding interventionists.
- Staying current with evidence-based practices and contributing to continuous improvement within our organization.

**Who We’re Looking For**: We are seeking an enthusiastic SLP who shares our commitment to neurodiversity-affirming practices and is eager to work in an inclusive, collaborative, and innovative environment.

**Requirements**:
✔ Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and registration with the Alberta College of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists (ACSLPA).

✔ Preference given to experience supporting autistic children and their families.

✔ Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.

✔ Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

✔ Experience working across varied environments (home, school, community).

✔ Commitment to professionalism, ethics, and ongoing learning.

✔ Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle for travel within Calgary and surrounding areas (mileage is reimbursed).

✔ Current Criminal Record Check and Child Intervention Check (costs reimbursed by CFASA).

✔ Current professional liability insurance.

✔ Valid certification in Child and Infant CPR and First Aid (reimbursed by CFASA).
